Official Last.FM client for Android: One less blog entry to write

For a while now I've wanted to sit down and start writing some blog post comparing competing apps... Currently there are at least 6 twitter clients, a good handful of clients for task/todo lists (some that include RTM syncing), a number of file managers, and a good handful of LastFM clients. I think there were 3 this morning. But today a new player entered the count: Last.FM. Today Last.FM has released a client for the Android with their name as the developer/company, so I guess this makes it an official client:

Last.fm – the Blog - Last.fm on Android

So while I won't go as far as saying the other client have no use, for me, I tend to prefer 'official' clients. The other clients have all served me well (heck well enough that I felt they all deserved to be installed on my G1 taking up space while I chose my favorite), and they probably all deserve to be compared sided-by-side, but for me, I'll be passing on the opportunity and will be shifting use to the 'official' client.

Thanks Last.FM... now if Pandora would finally release a client for Android...
