Just saw this over that on the African Nerd's Blog and thought I'd pass it along.

Toshiba quits HD DVD 'format war'
"Toshiba said Tuesday it will no longer manufacture HD DVDs, effectively ending the long-running battle with the rival Blu-ray for a dominant high-definition format." Well I guess it is about time, but I just think the name 'Blu-ray' sounds funny. Come on.. it made/make sense when one says "I'm going to go buy/rent a video/dvd" and I can see where saying the same with highdef-dvd sounds good, but "Hi I'd like a Blu-ray" sound like a fruity cocktail drink.

Last Nights Halloween Adventures
Well, last night Lauren and I headed out to Lincoln Road, Miami Beach. All I can say is this:
The only significant difference, not all the "sluts" were women.

Great Commercial
Usually I would not go out of my way to blog about a commercial (but actually I probably would but I'm only just getting into having my own blog) anyways... I saw this commercial while watching the season opener for Grey's Anatomy (I won't get into why I like the show here). Anyways.... finally a commercial/show/piece of tv history where it tries to get you do be helpful not because someone is helpful to you, because you see someone help another. How true is that, why do we wait till someone is nice to us before we help... why don't we just help in hope that someone else helps another person because of te example we set.
